Introducing New HTML5 Screens for SDMS Apps

STARLIMS systems based on HTML5 and SDMS will receive significant upgrades from the TP v12.1 release. The improvements allow the remainder of the LIMS system to have an up-to-date HTML5 based UI. This is applicable for the most-widely used SDMS apps like My Tasks, Documents, Incoming Queue, SDMS Admin, and Sync Analyzer. As a result, depending on the bridge for such applications is eliminated. The user interface will appear and feel more consistent, resulting in improved performance.

Printing Capabilities Improved

Essential to STARLIMS software, server-side printing capabilities have been improved. We once depended on Adobe Acrobat to perform the printing. Now printing with TP v12.1 will have a stronger and better performance-based server-side component. As a result, we are confident the stability and efficiency of very demanding print jobs will improve.
In conjunction with the above improvement, HTML5 based systems will also be provided a client-side label printing functionality that is more robust. Printers manufactured by Zebra, the industry leaders, are now enabled for direct client-side utilization for greater interactivity and speed.
