STARLIMS’ fully managed services include installation, malware protection, notifications, patch management, and testing. Client organizations are provided

database maintenance, backup, and retention, which includes five weeks’ worth of backup sets if needed.

A key feature of fully managed services is backup, and disaster recovery (DR), and Cloud Services personnel will assist in its architecture design, DR planning, and testing. Servers are designed for high availability across several AWS data centers, and DR is tested annually with a timed exercise.

The above services are key in minimizing downtime should there be an incident involving data. STARLIMS has committed to attaining a 4-hour RTO (Recovery Time Objective and a 15-minute RPO (Recovery Point Objective). As a result, Cloud Services has provided customers with 99.9% availability.
