May 31, 2022Building on their latest STARLIMS Technology v12.3 platform, STARLIMS announced the release of STARLIMS Quality Manufacturing (QM) Solution v12.3 in time for the second quarter of 2022.
STARLIMS Quality Manufacturing Solution QM 12.0 was initially launched in July 2019 for the support of integrations with a variety of platforms for the management of data from product conception to market. This solution was designed for worldwide sectors in manufacturing and R&D, including biotech/pharmaceuticals, chemicals, consumer products, contract services, food and beverage, general manufacturing, oil and gas, and petrochemicals.
The initial release of STARLIMS QM 12.0 featured applications for streamlining management of samples and batches, utilizing intuitive instrument integration and interfacing with the following third-party out-of-the-box applications:

- Empower
- SAP
- Thermo Scientific
The original STARLIMS QM 12.0 release introduced the new benefits below:
- Conversion to HTML5 for a fresh interface
- Verification Kit, providing templates to assist customers validating a LIMS or establishing methodologies for validating electronic systems

- Integrated Request Management Portal, easing collaboration among internal departments
New Features of STARLIMS QM 12.3
Upgrades of the latest release of STARLIMS QM 12.3 include the following:
- Enhanced and integrated HTML5 Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN)
- Chinese translation and labeling
- Regulatory compliance improvements
- Fully Integrated HTML5 Electronic Laboratory Notebook
- A new re-written version of the Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) using HTML5 technology is introduced with this release. It is fully integrated with the STARLIMS Quality Manufacturing QM 12.3 solution.
